The European Data Science Journal (EDSJ) welcomes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and short communications in data science, machine learning, AI, big data analytics, statistics, and interdisciplinary computational research. Authors are requested to follow the guidelines below for submission and publication.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

General Formatting

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

  • Page Layout: A4 size, 1.5 line spacing, 1-inch margins

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt

Word Limit

  • Research Articles: 4,000 – 8,000 words

  • Review Papers: 5,000 – 10,000 words

  • Short Communications: 1,500 – 3,500 words

  • Case Studies: 2,000 – 5,000 words

Structure of the Manuscript

Title Page

  • Title of the manuscript (concise and informative)

  • Full names of all authors

  • Institutional affiliations (department, university/institution, country)

  • Email of the corresponding author

Abstract

  • Word limit: 150–250 words

  • Should briefly describe the objectives, methods, results, and conclusion

  • No citations or references included

Keywords

  • 4 to 6 relevant keywords

  • Separated by commas

Introduction

  • Background and significance

  • Clear statement of the research problem

  • Objectives and scope

Materials and Methods

  • Description of datasets, tools, techniques, and computational models

  • Reproducibility is important—include all necessary details

Results and Discussion

  • Findings must be clearly presented

  • Include supporting tables, graphs, and figures

  • Compare with existing research and analyze the implications

Conclusion

  • Summarize key insights

  • Discuss contributions and future research directions

Acknowledgments (if any)

  • Mention financial support, contributors, or institutional aid

Conflict of Interest Statement

  • Declare any potential conflicts of interest

References

  • Use either APA 7th Edition or IEEE referencing style

  • Ensure consistency throughout

Figures, Tables, and Equations

Figures and Images

  • High resolution (minimum 300 dpi)

  • Caption placed below each figure

Tables

  • Use Word’s Table feature (no images)

  • Caption placed above the table

Equations

  • Use MS Equation Editor or LaTeX

  • Number equations sequentially

Submission Guidelines

How to Submit

Plagiarism Policy

  • Submissions must be original and unpublished

  • Checked using Turnitin/iThenticate

Review Process

  • Double-blind peer review

  • Initial feedback in 3–4 weeks

  • Revised manuscripts must be returned within 2 weeks

  • Non-exclusive rights granted to the journal
